Todd Snider Park West 2011

Todd’s annual visit to the Park West is always a hoot, and this show was extra special. Lots of good friends made it out for the gig, and Chicago’s new Mayor Rahm Emanuel introduced the stoner folk singer.

It’s no secret that Rahm is a big fan (while he was still President Obama’s Chief of Staff a photo of the two was posted on a website I built) but that was the second time I ran into him at a friday night gig in Chicago (the first was Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears at a jam-packed Double Door, believe it or don’t).
