‘This Life Flies’ Dead Print

Kyle Baker's Grateful Dead-inspired art print featuring the "Bertha" from Fitzgerald's translation of the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam

The main edition is a run of 1965, signed and numbered. This handmade screen print features a sweet red-to-blue split-fountain. It’s printed on primo Cougar Natural White 100# cover stock. It measures 18″ x 24″—classic gig poster size. Note this is larger than our Chicago and Santa Clara GD50 prints (which are each 16″ x 20″).

The Gold Edition is a run of 300, signed and numbered. Screen printed by hand on 13pt Brushed Gold Foil cardstock—really pretty stuff. The red-to-blue split looks awesome on it.

Notes

Originally created to commemorate the GD50 Fare Thee Well Chicago shows, this Grateful Dead-inspired art print celebrates the band's incomparable 50 years. It features EJ Sullivan's famous 'Bertha' image that Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley used on my favorite Dead poster for the Avalon Ballroom in 1966.
